Hi! My name is Claudie and I'm an award-winning illustrator with over 10 years of experience specializing in Children's books.

My style is very whimsical, with vivid colors and realistic lighting. I am mostly known for my strong focus on storytelling and bold colors. All of my work is hand-drawn, which means that you can rest assured that I will never use any AI in my process.

I have worked on multiple projects ranging from Picture Books to Middle Grade and Young Adult.

I have a preference for any project involving fiction, fantasy, magic, animals, landscapes, nature and neurodivergence!

I have worked on over 50 picture books and Middle Grade covers over the years and even won a few awards for my work.

As an illustrator, I highly value the author/illustrator relationship. I like to think of it as a partnership and that being able to trust each other can significantly improve the project's quality as well as the experience. I always work very closely with the author to make sure that their vision is well represented in the illustrations, meaning that I update the author regularly with sketches and follow up on the work done. I like to involve the author in the process as much as I can so that we can both have the best book possible!

Updates are sent on a weekly or bi-weekly basis depending on the nature and scope of the project. I'm very communicative and easily reachable and will answer any questions as soon as I can during working hours.

I'm also happy to guide any new author that might need the extra help to navigate the great world of book publishing.
