George Cotronis – Designer

George is a book cover designer and artist with over 15 years of experience. He’s created covers for publishers like Penguin Random House, Hachette, and Simon & Schuster, as well as for indie authors and small presses.

Inspired by the folklore of his home countries Sweden and Greece, his work blends the fantastic with gothic horror. His work blends digital painting with collage, in particular inspired by Neo-Classicist paintings.

George specializes in covers for urban fantasy, romantasy, YA fantasy, sci-fi, and horror—with a particular strength in character-driven covers that capture story and atmosphere. When he’s not painting, he’s usually digging through flea markets for rare books, old posters, or the occasional vintage Transformers toy.
