Tolly Maggs – Editor

Over 9 years of professional experience as editor, proofreader, writer and narrative consultant of fiction, non-fiction and graphics novels.

Overview

It's a pleasure to meet you! I'm Tolly, a professional editor, proofreader, writer, and narrative consultant with a rich background in fiction novels, nonfiction prose, article writing for magazines, and comics/graphic novels.

With over four years of experience at Titan Publishing, the UK's leading sci-fi publisher, I’ve worked closely with renowned licensors like Square Enix, Sony PlayStation, and Xbox. This experience has made me a veteran editor who can shape plotlines, navigate and develop complex character arcs, and oversee artistic direction, ensuring every element of the storytelling process is finely tuned.

I’ve had the privilege of editing titles such as Life is Strange, Sea of Thieves, Horizon Zero Dawn, Assassin's Creed, Dark Souls, and the Hard Case Crime Graphic Novels. I earned these titles from my love and appreciation for Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Romance narratives.

I’m passionate about helping you realize your vision. Storytelling is a delicate yet powerful craft, and I’ve collaborated on some of the industry's most compelling tales. My expertise lies in narrative structure, pacing and character development—the essential foundations of any great story. Above all, I believe storytelling is a collaborative journey, and I’m here to turn your dreams into reality!
